Clement Fezandie - A Trip to Venus - Original Manuscript.

Manuscript. Unbound. Two drafts of the original manuscript of Fezandie's A Trip to Venus, a sequel of sorts to the 1898 novel Through the Earth. A Trip to Venus was never published. [comprising] (1) Original typescript. 143pp Unbound. Holograph amendments by the author, mostly to the earlier leaves. (2) Original typescript, fair copy. Subsequent draft. 176pp Unbound. Holograph amendments throughout. (3) 100+ notes regarding the novel including Fezandie's calculations, random ideas and other bits and bobs. (4) George Locke's typed copies of the two drafts (copy of first draft is incomplete - likely never completed, second appears complete). Condition is mostly very good, some of the note sheets are heavily worn, but the typescripts are in nice shape. Edge wear to pretty much everything, as expected. [9187, Hyraxia Books].
