St Louis, National Amateur Press Association, 1929. First edition, first impression. Paperback. A very good copy. First(?) appearance of Lovecraft's essay on cavern adventures in Virginia. 8pp. The booklet has been folded and the crease has become weak splitting on the front cover, and a little to the HPL piece, which is at the rear. The titular Bacon is Victor E. Bacon, of St Louis, Missouri. This was later collected in the SSR Selected Essays and later still in Joshi's HPL Collected Essays (volume four). [9331, Hyraxia Books].
