London, John Dicks, 1846-1848. First editions, first impressions. Hardbacks. A very good set. An important set. Three volumes. No 1, Vol 1 - November 7th 1846 to No 84, Vol 3 - June 10th 1848. Presumably the first three volumes of the magazine, which ran until 1869. These volumes most significant perhaps due to them containing the first publication of Wagner The Wehr-Wolf, by Reynolds himself. Commonly considered the first Werewolf novel. An old binding, but looks to be somewhat later, some general signs of are and wear, but internally in excellent shape. Some pencil notes to the front endpapers. [9482, Hyraxia Books].
