A very good copy. 1900 edition, preceding the 1909 issue (printed by Freemantle, who then sold the sheets (subsequently?) to Constable. Uncommon. Forrest Reid's copy with his signature to the front endpaper. Complete. The boards are rubbed, particularly to the spine which is also a little faded. Internally very neat, with Reid's ownership inscription and autograph annotations to various stories denoting comparisons to Perrault. Further ownership inscription to the half-title.
