London, Tartarus Press / Ferret Fantasy, 2003. Hardback. One of 350 copies. Lengthy 35 page introduction by R.A. Gilbert, a Waite scholar. Three copies of the first edition were printed: one for Waite, one for Machen and one for Philip Wellby who financed it. This, the second edition, was published in a slightly more optimistic run of 350 copies. There is a slight caveat to this insofar as Ferret Fantasy, co-publishers of this issue, squeezed out an unedited edition of the book a few months prior to the publication of this edition. I'd hesitate to call that the second edition as it was less a publication and more a hastily printed mock-up. The introduction is signed by Gilbert. A fine copy. [9553, Hyraxia Books].
