London, Ferret Fantasy, n.d. [2003?]. Limited Edition. Unbound. Fine. Ok, I'm not entirely sure what this is. So, a good start. It's essentially a sheet of A4 with Gilbert's preface to the House of the Hidden Light. Presumably this is what was used in the FF publication of the Waite/Machen collection, which preceded the Tartarus / Ferret edition (and no doubt filled a gap in readers' wishes prior to the proper publication). We have a few copies of the sheet, with the first being numbered 4. Having not seen a copy of the Ferret issue, I can't confirm if this is associated with it. There's a chance the sheets were due to be tucked into the book, but, FF liked their wacky limited editions, so this could well be published and offered for sale as is. Many of the FF publications did not sell out, but 3 of 50 copies having sold would be very low. So, it's a bit of a mystery. Alas, I'm no James Lewis (detective-ish Machen character for those failing to pick up on my exceedingly erudite reference that was in no way spawned from a Google search), so I'm just going to offer them for sale and see if the market has any desire for what is likely the most borderline ephemeral piece of Machenalia in existence. If you just want to read it, then I guess you could just read on the photo - there's nothing on the back. [9563, Hyraxia Books].
