London, Methuen, 1918. First edition, first impression. Hardback. A near fine copy, in the jacket. A dystopian work predicting the rise of totalitarianism in Germany [Clarke, p46. Spectrum, p96]. Uncommon thus. Jacket is 8mm short of the book, but other copies seem to be similar, so unlikely to have been trimmed. The jacket is pretty much fine and just a little darkened to the spine, the book itself is a little dusty with an owner's inscription, and a little discolouring to the boards. but nothing much else of note.
