London, F. Hextall, 1841. Second Edition? First Impression. Hardback. A very good copy. Presumably a later binding in cloth, covers bound in and mounted by the look of it. There was a publication of the same by Chidley that the BL has c1840 - so that issue probably precedes this publication. Uncommon. Covers in very good condition, with a bit of a pulling to the front hinge. Some insect damage to the upper cover (bound in ). Some pages misnumbered. Almost certainly the same block as the Chidley issue. It's also a little odd that it's marked #1 and priced 1d on the bound in wrap - perhaps it was issued in parts and this is the book form with a part wrap bound in?
