London, Arthur Pearson, 1899. First edition, first impression. Hardback. A very good copy. A somewhat uncommon Victorian Martian / interplanetary novel. A little bumped to the spine and edges, a presentation plate from the 'Editor' (publisher?) to a short story prizewinner (presumably the editors were looking for writers and this was the prize). Endpapers a little spotted, but in nice shape overall. [9697, Hyraxia Books].
