London, Eyre & Spottiswoode, 1955. Proof. Paperback. A very good copy. Uncorrected proof with an additional jacket design by Biro. The proof is very good with some dustiness and rubbing. A little pulling to the hinge and a few spots of foxing. The jacket on the proof is priced, but may be a proof copy. The proof is offered with an original painting of what one presumes is a study for the jacket (clearly not the final piece). The painting itself measures 150mm x 190mm. A nice set.
