London, John Camden Hotten, n.d. [c1873]. First edition, first impression. Hardback. A very good copy. A family copy inscribed to the half-title by Frederic W. Jennings. A wonderful collection of strange tales revolving around Rosicrucian truths switching timelines and fantasy/reality. Jennings was 15 when he started to write for Marryat's Metropolitan Magazine. He had a distinct interest in the occult and Rosicrucianism. Wilkie Collins modelled Ezra Jennings on the author in The Moonstone. Boards a little rolled and corners bumped. [9847, Hyraxia Books].
