Collecting Nebula Prize Winners
The great thing about collecting something like the Nebula prize is that you get new things to search for all the time as new nominees are announced. There's also a huge potential for expanding the scope to different prizes and nominees. The Nebula award represents some of the finest works of speculative fiction including Dune, The Left Hand of Darkness, Neuromancer and Ender's Game. Unlike the Hugo's the Nebula awards are awarded by the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America, so you have a very high literary standard throughout, something which certainly helps books remain in the public consciousness for years to come. Not only can the scope be expanded to different categories and the nominees, it can also be expanded to different editions. Collectors we work with often prefer to follow the flag and buy the first hardback edition, but there are some wonderful earlier paperback editions and collectable foreign editions. The UK first edition for Dune is very collectable as well as the US edition. Whilst we generally only offer first editions for sale we are more than happy to help fill gaps in your collections. Why not contact us to find out more. In the meantime, here are some examples.
