Paris, Les Bibliophiles de l'Automobile-Club de France, 1933. Quarto (27x21cm). Limited edition being one of 130 copies. Printed on velin d'Arches, 43 coloured lithographed illustrations and vignettes by Georges Gobo. It is our understanding that the book was issued without a binding, the owner would pay to have the book bound to their liking. In this particular case, the owner has spared no expense. The slipcase and chemise (leather jacket) are to a high standard as is the full leather binding, which is also decorated to the edges of the boards. A stunning copy. Often, when the books were presented to the bibliophiles the artists would attend the event and sign some of the illustrations and often the originals would be made available.
