London, Privately Printed, n.d. [1935]. First edition, first impression. Paperback. A very rare Wells piece. Ownership inscription of Frank Wells, HG's brother. Noted as Copy #5. This is Wells' treatment of his two books The Shape of Things to Come and The Work, Wealth and Happiness of Mankind which was produced as Things to Come by Alexander Korba. The treatment is really Wells' 60 page outline for the film. No other copies located, but clearly there were at least four others (there may be two in libraries, but details are scarce). A superb Wells rarity. Good only, solely because the upper wrapper's detached. Otherwise in excellent shape. 60pp. [10428, Hyraxia Books].
