The first volume contains 'The Captive' which appears to be 'Captive of the Castle of Sennaar an African Tale', which was previously published in 1798 and is an important utopia. The second volume contains eleven tales. One leaf loose, in volume one. Bindings a little worn, but presentable and tight. Internally just a few handling marks and signs of age, but nice overall. Collector plate to the front pastedowns. [11963, Hyraxia Books].
